Level 3 Content Producer
A Content Producer (also referred to as a Creative Content Assistant) is responsible for developing and creating content that can be used
across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print.
Working to the customer/client brief, they research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement, capturing the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of the customer they are representing.The content they create can be used as part of media, advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Typical Duration: 12 months
- Entry Requirements Level 2 English and Maths will need to be achieved, if not already, prior to taking the end point assessment.
- Qualification On completion of this qualification, participants will be awarded with a Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Content Producer.
- Assessment Technical knowledge and understanding is assessed on programme through a combination of observation, content creation and review.
Aim of The Course
This course aims to show Content Producers how to collaborate with designers and developers, using authoring languages to create content for the World Wide Web, which may include video, images, text (or “copy”) and web pages and social media content, so enthusiasm for technology and creating great online experiences is a must.
Content Producers can work in advertising, marketing or digital agencies, or in interactive roles for
broadcasters.
Certification
The Level 3 Standard as a Content Producer has been accredited by the qualifications regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Achieving This Qualification
Completion of the apprenticeship will allow learners to join as an Affiliate (Professional) member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and/or Associate membership of BCS and to apply for registration to the Register of IT Technicians.
