The Warm Homes Skills Programme is designed to provide the vital skills and qualifications the retrofit sector needs to deliver on government energy efficiency targets. With the industry currently facing significant skills shortages and funding for workforce development limited, this programme comes at a critical time to equip workers with the expertise required to meet the national agenda.

This marks the third consecutive year that UK Skills Academy has been selected to contribute to this vital national initiative, reinforcing the Academy’s position as a leading provider of skills development in the energy efficiency sector.

Gemma Fletcher, CEO of UK Skills Academy, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to have secured funding once again. This award not only recognises the quality and impact of our training, but it also allows us to work alongside the government to deliver their energy efficiency agenda. At a time when funding is tight, this programme is vital to addressing skills shortages in the sector. We’re really looking forward to supporting our clients, from self-employed individuals to large businesses, to upskill their workforce, gain essential qualifications, and succeed in this growing industry.”

UK Skills Academy, a Grade 2 Ofsted-accredited provider, is committed to delivering high-quality, outcomes-driven training. Individuals and organisations can register today to take advantage of this heavily subsidised programme, helping to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the retrofit sector.
